We Live, We Love,
We Serve - Jesus Christ our Lord
The Christian church is not a building, but a body of believers united in Christ. Its role is to worship God, nurture and edify and reach out to a suffering world with the saving message of the gospel of Jesus Christ as well as the practical compassion and mercy exemplified in Christ. There are many images of the church in the Bible, but we will mention just three: the church as the Body of Christ, the People of God and the Bride of Christ. Christ is the head of the church (Ephesians 1:10; 4:15) and Christians are the body. “People of God” is another image of the church. God says of the church, “I will be their God, and they will be my people” (2 Corinthians 6:16; Hebrews 8:10 NIV). The church is also referred to as the Bride of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 5:32; Revelation 19:7; 21:9), suggestive of a special and sacred family relationship between Christ and the church. So, as we live, we love, and we serve – Let’s celebrate Jesus Christ our Lord and the His Gift of eternal life.
John 13:35 - By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Our Beliefs
We believe there is but one omnipotent, everlasting, sovereign, and omnipresent God. He is the creator and sustainer of all things. We believe that God exists in three forms: The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost. God sent Jesus Christ into the world to save sinners.
(Genesis 1:1, Colossians 1:17, Psalms 90:2, 1 Corinthians 8:6, 2 Corinthians 13:14, John 3:16,17)

We believe there is only one way to Salvation and that is through Jesus Christ. He is the only begotten Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, taught, performed miracles, died on the cross, rose from the dead, is seated at the right hand of His Father, and will come back again to rapture His church. Through the blood of Christ, we are saved.
(John 14:16, Ephesians 1:7, Mathew 1:23, 2 Corinthians 5:21)

We believe that a Christian receives the Holy Spirit the moment they are saved. When a person is saved, they will display fruits of the Spirit including: love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The filling of the Holy Spirit guides the Christian to sanctification in Christ. He convicts of sin, regenerates, indwells, baptizes and seals all believers at the moment of their salvation, filling them in response to yielding with the goal of conforming them to the image of Christ.
(Romans 8:9, Ephesians 1:13-14, Galatians 5:22-23, 1 Peter 1:2, John 3:5, Acts 5:3-4)

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inerrant, infallible word of God. The Bible provides all necessary training, guidance, and teaching to lead a Christian life. The Bible is the divinely and authoritative standard for every age and every life.
(Matthew 5:18, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 119:105, James 1:22, 2 Peter 1:20-21)

We believe salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned. Jesus Christ was offered up as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. The gift of salvation is received when we profess our faith in Christ. We believe that man is justified by grace through faith apart from works and that all true born again believers, once saved, are kept secure in Jesus Christ forever.
(Ephesians 4:12, 1 Corinthians 12:27, Acts 13:38-39, Romans 4:5, 6:23, 8:1, John 10:27-29, Ephesians 2:8-9)

We believe the body of the church is comprised of all persons who are regenerated by the Holy Spirit through the saving faith in Jesus Christ. The church body is united together through Christ who is the Lord and head of the church. Believers are commissioned for the God given tasks of worshipping, teaching, evangelizing, and exercising spiritual gifts. We believe that the establishment and continuance of the local church is clearly taught in the New Testament scriptures. We believe that the local church should be free of any external authority or control other than the ordained Word of God.
(Ephesians 4:12, 1 Corinthians 12:27, Romans 12:5, Acts 2:42,47, 1 Peter 5:1-4, Acts 13:1-4)

We believe that a Christian should walk in holiness and not after the flesh, with the goal of being conformed to the image of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As a new creation, walking in the Spirit, the Christian learns to grow in faith, in obedience to Scripture, prayer, fellowship with the saints, and in a life of service. We believe that the Christian will stand before the judgment seat of Christ to have their life evaluated according to deeds.
(Galatians 5:16-26, Hebrews 10:25, Ephesians 4:20-24, Hebrews 11:6, 12:1-2, John 17:17, Ephesians 6:18, Roans 8:29, 2 Corinthians 5:10, 1 Corinthians 3:10-15)

We believe in the personal, pre-millennial, and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, the bodily resurrection of the dead, of the believer to everlasting glory, and the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, Titus 2:11-13, John 14:1-6, Matthew 25:46, Revelation 20:11-15, 2 Peter 3:10)
